Whitney Woodruff

Whitney Woodruff is a Utah native and grew up in West Jordan. Woodruff received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Utah. Her graduate Thesis and project focused on “Early Sepsis Intervention & Education with EMS Teams.” This protocol and education emphasis helped decrease mortality rates of patients diagnosed with sepsis. Her project was chosen as one of the top projects in her graduating class.

At the age of seven Woodruff gained a fascination and love for science and the body. Her brother had been diagnosed with Kawasaki Disease and their family spent a lot of time in the hospital/going to doctors appointments. In the coming years Woodruff would personally experience her own health struggles that led her mother to pursue other avenues for answers. This led to the introduction and discovery of alternative medicine and modalities. Since that time Woodruff has learned and experienced the benefit of combining Western and Eastern medicine. She understands the significant importance of emotional health and how this plays into our well-being. She is passionate about helping others and wants them to achieve their health and wellness goals. She knows the importance of taking into consideration all areas of health: Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, Spiritual, Social, Environment and Financial.

Since graduating from school Woodruff has taken time to learn and become certified in many modalities. These include Hormone Replacement Therapy, in depth blood work/lab analysis, Dry Needling, Ion Cleanse/Foot Bath, ESR (Emotional Stress Release) and Muscle Testing.

Woodruff spent 18 months prior to her undergraduate education living in France and Belgium, serving as a volunteer for her faith and learning the French language. During that time Woodruff gained invaluable life skills as well as the integral part that spirituality plays in people’s life, regardless of their faith. In addition to her love for medicine and helping others she enjoys being involved in the community, coaching and working with adolescent athletes, teaching, spending time with family, reading, learning, traveling, boating, hiking, running, and playing sports (basketball is her favorite). She is actively involved in church and civic groups, including youth activities and sports programs.
